Academy of Perinatal Harm Reduction: Perinatal Substance Use Disorder Harm Reduction Training

This event is hosted by The Great Start Collaborative (GSC), Community Recovery Alliance, and the Academy of Perinatal Harm Reduction.

Join us for an in-person perinatal substance use disorder harm reduction training at Charlevoix Public Library.

We will present a two-part training:

  1. Understanding the Evidence

  2. What is Perinatal Harm Reduction

When? March 11, 2025 / 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Where? Charlevoix Public Library (220 Clinton Street, Charlevoix, MI 49720)

In coordination with this training, Joelle and the team at the Academy of Perinatal Harm Reduction are working to create a Michigan-specific "Pregnancy and Substance Use: A Harm Reduction Toolkit." This toolkit, developed with input from individuals with lived experience, will be available in the spring of 2025.

We are applying for the following CE credits: CNE, MiSW, CHW, MCBAP, CHES, IBCLC.

Please do not register for this training if you are not fully committed to attending, as space is limited and expenses are incurred upon registration. A virtual training option may be available at a later date.

Priority seating will go to those living and serving within Charlevoix, Emmet, and northern Antrim Counties.
